The Federal and WA State Governments announced a range of unprecedented incentives for home buyers. Eligible West Australians could access up to $69,440 in grants and incentives to build a new home.

 

Here is what you need to know:

 

  1. Get $25,000 to build a new home. The Federal Home Builder Scheme is providing $25,000 to eligible Australians to build their new home, up to the value of $750,000.

  2. The WA State Government is also providing $20,000. In addition to the Federal scheme, the WA State Government is providing $20,000 grants for eligible buyers.

 

This means eligible West Australian’s can access $45,000* in grants to build a new home.

 

Home loan rates are at a record low.

In addition to the available grants, interest rates have dropped to a record low. With most rates falling between 2 – 3%, there has never been a better time to borrow and build a home.
